Hammer & Nails, Inc. a nonprofit ecumenical Christian outreach ministry based in Canton, Ohio, is dedicated to improving the quality of life for disadvantaged area homeowners through home and property improvements.

Stemmed from a temporary outreach ministry in 1993, at North Industry Christian Church called Rolling Valley Workcamp (RVWC).

Incorporated into an independent, non-profit organization in 2000, operating full – time since January, 2002, relies on the generosity of the community and foundation grants.

Assists disadvantaged Stark County homeowners with home and property improvements.

Serves families who meet the low to moderate income levels for our community. Homeowners must apply and meet criteria of need, and are required to help with repairs when physically able. Through our “Be a Greater Blessing” program, homeowners are encouraged to make donations back to the ministry to help others.

Have assisted over 1600 area homeowners.

Assisted 40 homeowners with 93 projects in 2016, with 1553 volunteers donating over 7454 hours of their time. (A labor value of $149,080.00 at an average of $20.00/hr.)

Provides volunteer opportunities for youth and adults; both skilled and unskilled.
